My results have been nothing short of amazing!  The procedure was painless and almost no downtime.  I would highly recommend the procedure for anyone with vaginal dryness.

I’d rather call it my miracle, not my procedure.  We start out in life in diapers, then big girl panties, then, ugh, we start our periods, and pads enter our lives, after menopause – or in my case – a total hysterectomy at 38 years old, ah, no more pads, nothing to worry about!

My 40’s and most of my 50’s sailed smoothly, then all of a sudden, achoo ~ cough, cough, or laughing to hard!  Oops bit of leaking down under!  A little more as time went on. Oh no, I’m going to smell like Grandma, just a hint of piddle in the panties!  So, back to pantie liners, then a bit heavier.

Along with the itchiness, dryness, uncomfortable friction during sex, feeling wet from the plastic where the adhesive holds the pad to panties.

Another few years go by and a commercial of a young woman, late 30’s, early 40’s, smoothing her behind saying something to the effect of ‘no one will know ~ oh, how lovely I look!’  What?  Diapers!  Looking lovely?

After an office visit with Dr. Stefanie we spoke about the sling for lifting my bladder and the ‘Mona Lisa’ for other problems.  Then she told me one of the good side effects of the Mona Lisa is it has had good results with bladder control.

Music to my ears!!  No promises, not covered by insurance as it is considered cosmetic – the guys who make the rules need to wear what we do, and worry all the time if the lines in the bathroom are going to be long – this would not be considered cosmetic any longer! But in all honesty, the benefit far outweighs the cost.

So here’s the bottom line for me – three days – yes, three – one, two, three – days, not weeks, or months and no more pads – NO NEED FOR PADS  after the first treatment!  Leaking has stopped, and I’ve noticed less itching and more moisture.

I had my second treatment yesterday and for the first time in years, I am able to hold my tummy in!  I have terrible problems with my spine and not controlling my muscles just became normal without horrible pain.  I feel like a new woman!
